Practical Skills

Nurses acquire many practical skills within rheumatology.  This module includes specific skills that are integral to the role of the nurse. These include:

Taking Blood and cannulation

Many procedures are uncomfortable or unpleasant and nurses play an important role to support children and families. Helpful tips for procedural anxiety are provided.
